Our Sustainability Efforts
CLiCK Inc. is a community-based organization that is passionate about promoting sustainable practices throughout the food cycle. This includes food rescue opportunities, using locally sourced and produced products, and diverting food waste from the landfills. We believe that through education and collaboration, we can create a more sustainable future for our planet.
Good Times Coffee House
In October, CLiCK welcomed local Willimantic coffee shop, Good Times Coffee House, into our community composting program. They now divert about 250lbs of coffee grounds and food scraps from the landfill a month!
The Summer We Diverted 1,254lbs of Food Waste
This summer 25+ Green Team Members volunteered at five 3rd Thursday Street Festivals to help sort recycles, trash, and compostable materials. Throughout the summer we were able to maintain a 64% diversion rate.

Community Compost Initiative
CLiCK has partnered with dedicated coffee houses and local farmers to reduce the amount of food waste going into the landfills. If you're business is interested in reducing your organic waste reach out to annie@clickwillimatic.com.
A New Way to Compost
Over the summer our Food Waste Reduction Coordinator and Windham Community Food Network Coordinator built a new composting system at CLiCK. A 3 bin system! Watch the transformation here.
